Cyberspace Camp®

ITechLaw's signature Cyberspace Camp® program is being held on Jan 29- 30, 2016 in Bangalore, India. This will be the fifth time that ITechLaw® will bring its popular Cyberspace Camp® program to Bangalore.

The Cyberspace Camp® program would provide a platform for experienced lawyers from US, Europe, Asia and all over the world to interact with young lawyers and professionals from India, and share their insight and in-depth view on the implications of technology law and practice as it has developed in their respective jurisdictions. In addition to Bangalore, the Cyberspace Camp® program has been successfully conducted in Amsterdam, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Istanbul and Campina Grande City, in the past.

The Cyberspace Camp® program brings together an eclectic mix of participants, including lawyers, professionals, civil servants, government employees, judges, police personnel and like. It facilitates the dissemination of the learnings of the Cyberspace Camp® program into the mainstream of business and legal professions. Unlike an ICT Conference it is an intensive "Classroom Style" learning boot camp.

The program has been tailor made to address current issues facing technology law practitioners as well as make the event an interactive discussion. The program will be conducted in a class room style, with faculty encouraging active interaction from the participants. The Cyberspace Camp® is aimed not only towards young technology lawyers, corporate counsel, Government officials, other professionals and law students who want to expand their knowledge, but also towards seasoned practitioners and professionals who may seek to refresh and expand their learnings with this exciting area of law, as it develops in India.

Apart from serving as an educational forum for lawyers and professionals the Cyberspace Camp® program would be a great learning experience for young law students to interact with a global faculty and gain an overview of the legal implications of IP and technology issues, globally.

We are working on the agenda for the 2016 Cyberspace Camp® program. Should you be interested in sponsoring/teaching/participating, please reach out to Probir Roy Chowdhury, Chair Education Committee at probir@jsalaw.com
